Across the front of this tunic, Hội An lanterns and Spanish flamingos are hand-stamped in deep indigo on a warm coral ground, each shape traced by hand in fine embroidered stitches. Cut from Dui in a loose, flowing silhouette that moves easily through warm days. Stamped, embroidered, and finished by hand at the Hanoi atelier.
Care
We recommend a cold, delicate cycle, preferably in a mesh laundry bag, with a mild detergent. Reshape gently and allow to air dry naturally.

The story
FLAMENCO LANTERNS
Two countries meet on this tunic. From Vietnam, the lanterns of Hội An, still lit every full moon along the Thu Bồn River. From Spain, flamingos, borrowed from the color and heat of the south. Together they share the same fabric, stamped in indigo against coral. The pun sits inside the name. Flamenco, the dance of southern Spain. Flamingo, the long-legged bird. Both are on the tunic. Both belong. Each lantern and each bird is hand-stamped with a carved wooden block, then traced by hand in fine embroidered stitches that follow the edge of every shape. Cut from Dui in a loose, flowing silhouette, the tunic moves easily through warm days. A tunic that carries two countries in a single fabric.
